Lemon Fic Limerick
To those of you that know what a “lemon fic” is, I’m very sorry. This song’s topic becomes painfully obvious once you do.
Kids these days don’t call them “lemons” anymore. I don’t think that is good or bad, it just is what it is.
It’s inevitable that, even in a cohesive group where everyone is giving and receiving equally, there always seems to be a leader, at least in the eyes of the participants. There’s always one person in there that’s the reason why you’re there, and the reason why you keep coming back.
Sometimes, they know it too, and they may abuse that power once they find it out. It’s up to you to stand your ground, so the playing field is fair.
This was supposed to be the B-side to Scatterbrain, but I liked it too much to leave it off the album.
